Photography became increasingly difficult and a major contribution to
that was not changing the ISO setting on my camera. It was also a
blessing that it became dark and thus cooled down from the 100 plus
degree day we experienced. Later on, somewhat past 11 PM, we
could see lights in the distance which were along the Colorado
River. Although we could not see the river, we made a hard right
hand turn and crossed the river on a large bridge. We moved past
the bridge a half mile or so and came to a stop. It was too good
to be true that we were finally in Parker Arizona. Most people
were anxious to get off the Grand Canyon Limited for the night. I
had booked myself at the Blue Water Resort 2 miles distant from our
stopping point.
If you made it this far, why don't you come back soon and experience
day 2 of the Grand Canyon Limited train?
NOTE: As of June 23th, days 1, 2 and 3 are active.
Check back each
week for updates.
