Old Oak Common 2000
5th / 6th August 2000
On the weekend of 5th / 6th August 2000 EWS opened the doors of its Old Oak Common Depot, West London, to the public. The weekend is sure to go down in history as one of the most successful open days of recent years with a magnificent display of locos - the result of hundreds of hours of work all by volunteers. On the Saturday I was lucky enough to have the chance to steward at the event, this also enabled me to gain access to the site before the hoards descended on it and resulted in largely people free photos! Because of the huge number of exhibits and photos they have been split into sections to make navigation easier.
