A meeting of the Rochester Area S-Gaugers was hosted by George Cole at his home on October 12, 2008. Duane Miner, Chuck Smith, George Cole, Craig Erickson, Dave Daniel, Roger Delthony and Bill Johnson were in attendance.

A discussion about weather or not to buy a new locomotive for the club was conducted. Everyone was in general agreement that it was a good idea. Lionel was having a sale but before a purchase was made it was decided to investigate the matter further because Chuck Smith said that some Lionel locomotives require special controls which would be an extra expense.
Bill Johnson mentioned to Craig, Dave and Roger that if they wanted to, they could supply a biographical sketch of their involvement with S gauge. The RASG Our Club webpage has not been updated since they joined the club and when they supply their data that he would post it.
