We set up our modular layout at Irondequoit Mall over Thanksgiving weekend. What follows are a couple of e-mails about this event. Sorry, no pictures are available for this show.
Jeff Faust received an invitation for the club from the N-Trak club, we're invited to set up at Irondequoit Mall Fri-Sun after Thanksgiving.
Jeff made some phone calls and concluded that there are enough club members interested and available to do this. Jeff has not made contact with everybody. If you have not heard from Jeff and want to participate, call him at (edited out telephone number).
ALSO, the N-Trak club invited us to set up our modules in their workshop area for December to work on them. Contact me if you are interested in working on them; track work, carpentry, wiring, scenery. Dick Senges, a scenery "expert" has volunteered to help us with scenery.
What nights/weekends are you available for working on the modules? Tuesday night is easy because the N-Trak club is open that night. It is not good for me, I have a youth club commitment for Tuesday nights. Jeff Faust says that other times could probably be arranged instead of or in addition to Tuesday. Let me know your interest and availability. (edited out telephone number)

Chuck (Smith) suggested today a layout pattern that I'd not seen before. It works VERY well; operating the accessories is completely out of the way of operating trains in and out of the sidings and yards. A real win-win situation. With a few small wiring fixes and changes, yard / siding operation will be greatly simplified and facilitated. I left some sketches at the layout to convey my observations. If we can fix / replace the track switch that goes to Rick Israelson's module, then we'll also greatly improve operations on the outer track.

George Cole invited the RASG club to his home on Monday, October 24, 2005. We were sucessful in debugging problems experienced at the RIT show with the yard modules while Jeff Faust repaired a couple of transformers. We were also treated to coffee and donut holes while we observed the progress that George is making to an addition to his American Flyer layout.
