Kulem.jpg (84952 bytes)

Remains of Steam era.jpg (66103 bytes)  Kulem had a steam loco shed and it was also a watering spot for steam locos.

Wall of loco shed.jpg (77817 bytes)  This is all that remains of that loco shed today.

LHF.jpg (61168 bytes)  Looking from Assistant's chair, Long Hood Front (LHF). Note that platform of this loco ends few feet after sandbox and the next loco's platform starts. I did not find the view any different than WDM2 with LHF driving.

Starting.jpg (29386 bytes)  We have started fro Kulem. Speed is 8 km/h as we are negotiating switches. TE is shown in meter at right.

Load Meter.jpg (39082 bytes)  As we reached main line, WDG4 started working hard showing all their strength. Speed is 30 km/h over the gradient and TE has increased.

Dudhsagar.jpg (91269 bytes)  Stream of Dudhsagar Falls by mid-January.

Our rake.jpg (94105 bytes)  Our rake is waiting for a meet.

Sand.jpg (81731 bytes)  Sand layer on track.
