This 6 unit meter gauge train was was specially built to carry troops in war
infested area. Wagons built in 1880's were converted in Ajmer workshop of
BBC&I Railway.
Nilgiri Mountain Railway composite first and third class coach. For higher
adhesion, this coach has double pinion on one axel that matches with rack
provided at the center of track. It was built by Gloucester Carriage & Wagon
Co., UK, in 1914.
F-734 from Rajputana Malwa Railway is the first locomotive manufactured in India
in 1895.
E-207 built by Dubs & Co., UK in 1879 was modified at Jodhpur Railway
Workshop as a saddle tank loco in 1912. I retired in 1952.
Prince of Wales Saloon: built at Agra Workshop pg RMR in 1875 for Prince of
Wales (later King Edward VII) for his visit to India for Royal Darbar in 1876.
FMA-37302 built by Dubs & Co., UK in 1888. Originally classified as FM, it
was re-classified as FMA after her coal capacity was increased.
Maharaja of Mysore saloon was built at Bangalore Workshop in 1899 on the frame
supplied by Hurst Nelson of UK. It has a vestibule system to connect with the
rest of the train.
