This A class locomotive is a modified version of L class with larger coupled
wheels. This loco was used for both, freight and passenger traffic on Nizam's
Guaranteed State Railway of Hyderabad. Subsequently, this loco was sectioned at
the Railway Staff College, Vadodara, for educational purposes. Built by Dubs
& Co., UK, in 1891.
