When Viraf Mulla from Godrej Gang arranged for
a meeting at Khar Platform # 5, I was excited. Actually that is an
understatement.
I was so excited that I reached before time. A
Railway Police constable noticed me, made a quick observation and determined
that:
1) The person wearing red cap and shorts,
pretends to be a foreigner but he is not a foreigner.
2) Although an eye-soar, he is harmless.
3) There is no likelihood of financial gain by
probing this person.
He was absolutely right. Even the beggars and
Ticket Checkers avoided me for exactly the same reasons. Intelligence or common
sense, I guess,
comes to these folks from their blood.
So he left me alone. Pranesh joined me soon
after.
Sarosh Mehta, Pranesh and Viraf Mulla.
Herambh Patankar stands tallest amongst all.
Venky (on the right) was excited, too. BTW, Venky is a short form of Venkat
which itself is a derivative from Vyankatesh.
That's me with friends from Mumbai Chapter of IRFCA. The actual crowd was double
this size. Unfortunately, I lost a role of film covering remaining pictures.
I am looking forward to add pictures taken by
others to this page.
