CSXT FLORIDA FUNNEL
AUTORACKS

Southbounds are actually the only scheduled autoracks. All the northbounds through the Funnel are as needed and originate in Baldwin. There are more likely to run in the morning. All the autoracks through the funnel go through Waycross (none to Savannah).
Table current as of May 2001. Data from the Bullsheet.

February 1998; Southbound; CSXT 7862.
My first time in Folkston for the entire weekend yielded a lot of excitment. This is from my favorite spot in the afternoon just across from the car wash.

Another first for me in Folkston.

3 rd weekend of June 1999; Q213; BNSF 8293, BN 7122.
It was getting late on this Sunday afternoon, and I was about to go home. Members of SErails gave a heads-up about this consist after I had left home; Danny called Cookie; Cookie drove to the tracks and found me. I stayed a few more minutes to see  a rare appearance of BNSF engines at the Funnel. The original plan for the weekend was to get some Conrail engines. I did not know that CSX and NS had taken over BNSF as well!!!!
