Click here to see the old Reading Company Station at Valley Forge Penna., in the park. It is a shame that there is no passenger service between Valley Forge Park and Philadelphia Pa. It would be a great way for Tourists to get to The Valley Forge National Historical Park. The Park Bus drives past the station. 8/97

Click here to see the underutilized tracks of the former Reading Company Harrisburg Line, now controlled by Norfolk Southern, next to the old Reading Valley Forge Station. At one time there were 4 tracks passing the station area. In 1961, along with heavy freight service, there were 16 daily passenger trains that used this route to connect Philadelphia to Phoenixville, Pottstown and Reading.
