Amtrak:

  • Amtrak no. 131 leads train no. 51, the westbound Cardinal, through Wurtland, Kentucky, just outside CSXT's Russell Yard on July 18, 2001. (Size- 301K; Length-37 sec.) 

Conrail:

  • Conrail train CIPI with C40-8 no. 6048 in the lead at Middletown Road, Crestline. (Size-542K; Length-67 sec.)

  • *Conrail train INPI with C40-8W no. 6221 in the lead at Galion. (Size-485K; Length-61 sec.)*

  • CR Clintonville DED at MP134 on the CR Columbus Line. (Size-79K; Length-11 sec.)

CSX Transportation:

  • Two CSXT trains meet at Wellington on the ex-CR Indianapolis Line. (Size- 468K; Length-58 sec.)

  • CSXT LaGrange DED on the Indy Line. (Size- 178K; Length-22 sec.)

  • CSXT SD40-2 8447, GP40-2 6438, GP30 slug 2264, and LRCX C30-7 9463 and 9568 all lead a mixed freight of 110 cars eastbound through St. Albans, West Virginia on March 27, 2001. (Size- 229K; Length-28 sec.) 

  • CSXT EDD at MP 9.5 (near Minford) on the old C&O Northern Subdivision. (Size- 123K; Length-15 sec.) 

  • CSXT AC44CW's nos. 126, 228, 403, GP40-2 no. 6406 and roughly six other units move a train westbound through Thurmond, West Virginia, temporarily disrupting the crickets on July 16, 2001. (Size- 434K; Length-60 sec.) 

  • CSXT C30-7 no. 7048 leads a maintenance run down the ex-Conrail Columbus Line through Clintonville on August 1, 2001, at exactly 9:38 in the P.M.  (Size- 174K; Length-21sec.)  

Great Miami Railways:

  • GMRY GP35 no. 35 pulling two covered hoppers through Wellston to Hamden. (Size- 328K; Length-40 sec.)

Hocking Valley Scenic Railway:

  • HVSR GP7 no. 5833 crossing Watkins Street in Nelsonville as she runs lite back to the enginehouse on August 25, 2001 at 11:06 p.m.  (Size- 164K; Length-20 sec.)  

  • HVSR no. 5833, again crossing Watkins Street, pulls the regular train up to the Nelsonville Depot from the enginehouse on September 3, 2001 at 10:26 a.m.  (Size- 328K; Length-40 sec.)  

  • HVSR Baldwin 65-tonner no. 4005 is departing the Nelsonville Depot with the September 1, 2001 caboose train to Logan at 11:02 a.m.  (Size- 285K; Length-35 sec.)  

  • The same train above with the 4005 is heard in the distance crossing State Route 278, heading for Logan.  The extra locomotive sounds nearby are from 5833, as the Noon train has just pulled up to the Depot.  (Size- 185K; Length-23 sec.)

  • WE SD40-2 no. 4003 (the "Bobo") leads a mixed freight through the westbound connection between the ex-NYC and ex-B&O at Greenwich. (Size- 486K; Length-60 sec.)
