* The Copper King was a Observation Buffet Lounge Car rebuilt from auxiliary mail baggage car #12202. The interior featured sidewalls covered with copper sheets. The drapery and carpet were finished in a coordinating shade of green while the seats were Henna and Kelly green.
Adjustable Polaroid windows filtered out the glare.
Brochures and menus for the car were printed in metallic copper inks.
Stationary aboard the car sported the car name and the symbol for copper.
