Construction began in 2005 on our new N Scale layout. This layout was built for long trains and multi-unit consists. Twice the size of our original N scale layout at 18' x 10'. With its large, U-shaped track plan, 100 plus car trains are possible on this layout.  Even with construction continuing this layout has already made several appearances at local shows.

The N Scale guys got together one weekend and removed all of the buildings and switches from our original N Scale layout and set forth to plan our new, larger N Scale layout. Over the course of a couple of weekends 8 modules were built. Over the next 6 months the guys worked every week. The middle of September, 2005 it made it's first public appearance at the Orangeville show. October 2005 it appeared at the Bowmanville show and November 2005 it appeared at our own show in Whitby. Each time the 18 x 10 layout was further along. In September just the lower track was in place. By the November appearance the upper track had been installed. Now over 3 years later, work continues on updating the N Scale Layout.
