NEW HO Scale Layout : In February 2008 we decided to being the process of planning and designing a new HO Scale layout. At this time we are still in the planning process.

HO Scale Pine Ridge : In 2003 the layout was converted to Digitrax DCC and operation took a giant leap forward. At 9' x 16' this double loop needed extensive modification to improve operation even more.  The track arrangement in the lower level yard was extended to allow for longer passing tracks, for example.

N Scale Pine Ridge : Construction began in 2005 on our new N Scale layout. This layout was built for long trains and multi-unit consists. Twice the size of our original N scale layout at 18' x 10'. With its large, U-shaped track plan, 100 plus car trains are possible on this layout.  Even with construction continuing this layout has already made several appearances at local shows.

Durham Belt Line : Started in January 2001, the Durham Belt Line consists of a small group of our members who get together to assemble a large, free-flowing modular layout. With almost 20 modules, the mainline can very easily be over 100 feet long.  With no two setups the same, its like a different layout every time.

Members Layouts : The home layouts of our members are very impressive works of art. Some of these members have agreed to display their home layout on the club site and we would like to take the opportunity to thank them for sharing their talents with us.

To the left is a photo of Brad's layout, a large and well detailed N Scale layout that will be added to this page shortly.
