The following are cars that can be accurately modeled currently in N-scale using available car sides, kits and R-T-R models.  The list below are recommendations only, based on the best information that I have on-hand.  If you know of additions or corrections that need to be made, or know of suitable decals for lettering these cars, please email me by Clicking Here.

* - It should be noted that the Union Station Products are Craftsman-level kits.  Some clean-up of parts and assembly is required, and care must be exercised when assembling these sides because of the delicate parts.

Note 1:  The Wabash's Blue- series sleepers were used on various passenger trains on the Wabash while the Western-series cars were a part of UP's City of St. Louis car pool and carried UP colors with the train name on the letterboard and "WABASH" sublettering.  The following names were used on Wabash sleeper cars:
Blue Boy Blue Gazelle Blue Knight Western Lake Western View
Blue Cloud Blue Horizon Blue Skies Western Sunset

Note 2:  Wabash dome-coach cars can be represented using the Kato dome-coach models.  For 200 - 202 the Kato Budd dome-coach can be used but for the model to be accurate the truck cut-outs will need to be made into the skirting.  For 203, the Kato smooth sided dome would be suitable.

Note 3:  Wabash 203 and 1431 were a part of UP's City of St. Louis pool.  As such the cars were painted in UP colors, at times with the train name on the letterboard in red and small,"WAB" sublettering, possibly at other times having "Wabash" lettering (there seems to be conflict as to which lettering was most prominent, when looking through photos).
