The following are cars that can be accurately modeled currently in N-scale using available car sides, kits and R-T-R models.  The list below are recommendations only, based on the best information that I have on-hand.  If you know of additions or corrections that need to be made, or know of suitable decals for lettering these cars, please email me by Clicking Here.

Although most of Southern Railway's Class One subsidiaries participated in the operation of streamline passenger trains only the Cincinnatti New Orleans and Texas Pacific actually owned any lightweight equipment, with this being denoted by "C.N.O.&T.P." sublettering in the upper corner of the letterboard area.

Southern participated in through passenger train routes in conjunction with Florida East Coast, Louisville and Nashville, Pennsylvania Railroad and the West Point Route, with these roads also owning cars built as a part of the same orders as some of the Southern's cars and are so noted under those roadnames (where tables have been written).

Note 3:  The Royal-series sleeper - lounge observation cars were rebuilt by Pullman - Standard to 11 DBR sleepers, retaining the same names when rebuilt.  It should be noted, though, that at present there is not an appropriate core kit for constructing such a model, nor is there an appropriate set of sides available at this time to represent the 11 DBR sleepers.  It should also be noted that 2300 was later renamed (after rebuilding) to Luther Calvin Norris.

Note 4:  The U.S.P. sides kit listed is for a New York Central smooth-sided sleeper - lounge observation car of a nearly identical configuration.  It should be possible to construct a reasonable representation of the Royal-series cars by adding U.S.P. Pullman - Standard corrugation, applied appropriately to the sides.
