The following are cars that can be accurately modeled currently in N-scale using available car sides, kits and R-T-R models.  The list below are recommendations only, based on the best information that I have on-hand.  If you know of additions or corrections that need to be made, or know of suitable decals for lettering these cars, please email me by Clicking Here.

    Note 4:  While not an exact match for a SL-SF non-Texas Special coach the sides are very close.  If a modeler would want a more accurate model it would be necessary to remove the small initial plates at the end of the letterboard and the center section of the skirting for the sides to more closely match the prototype.

    Note 5:  Great Northern's 2350 was a Phase II RDC3 with corrugation extending over the doors and onto the ends, along with a high mounted headlight casting.  This car is mentioned purely for reference purposes.

    Note 6:  GN 1079 - 1099 are ex-C&NW 819 (nee-3433), 827 (nee-3471), 834 (nee-3435, 832 (nee-3454), 842 (nee-3449), 849 (nee-3468), 806 (nee-3436), 810 (nee-3437), 830 (nee-3470), 831 (nee-3451), 821 (nee-3439), 3450, 3469, 3462, 3459, 3475, 3434, 801 (nee-3454), 808 (nee-3444), 825 (nee-3432) and 841 (nee-3476).
