* - It should be noted that the Union Station Products are Craftsman-level kits.  Some clean-up of parts and assembly is required, and care must be exercised when assembling these sides because of the delicate parts.

Note 1:  While Brass Car sides offer sides to create this car there is no suitable core kit available at this time and it is only mentioned as a matter of record.

Note 2:  While, at present, there is no observation car core kit that is suitable, it may be possible to use a Kato smooth - sided observation car as the basis for creating this car, with the original sides cut from the shell and the new sides added on.
