It's a 3 eye'd monster!! I'll admit it. When I heard Via was trying this third headlight idea "A lot of good that'll do" I said. It serves one purpose very well. It'll throw a railfan off path so quick it's not funny. The extra light created makes it look identical to the headlight/ditch light cluster of a P42. The first of 2 such monsters on Via's roster, #6420 leads 3 LRC's on train 49.

The hogger stuck his head out the window while I was shooting this and commented "It'll cost you $5 per shot to take my picture!" This one is for all of Via's head end crews.
