This 8.6 mile (part of former CPR branch) shortline is
owned by Bell-Gaz
to serve their propane gas distribution facility in St.Felix-de-Valois,
Quebec.
It connects at Joliette with Quebec-Gatineau which is the former
CPR mainline between Quebec City and Montreal.

Note: This unit had been rebuilt 5/04 (SFEX 3000) as a demonstration
of a modernized RS-18 by Industrial Railway Service
(IRSI) in Moncton, New Brunswick for Eastern Railway Services, a division
of Quebec Railway Corp. (CFQC 3000 4/05)
owners of New Brunswick East Coast, Matapedia and Charlevoix railways
which had a fleet of MLW units. Six more units
were upgraded however, they were not done as ERS units rather as NBEC
with original numbers retained. Upgrading includedQ-Tron QES III system
with microprocessor control as well as a revised air system with a wall
separating the prime mover and main generator and a new filtration system.
These shortlines were reacquired by CN and the units disposed of.
Newly returned after a lengthy absence. 114 had been at
CAD in Montreal for repairs.
