E&N Railway Company (1998) Ltd.

Esquimalt & Nanaimo ENR

Operated former CPR subsidiary Esquimalt & Nanaimo on Vancouver Island beginning January 8, 1999.
Port Alberni Subdivision Port Alberni to Parksville 38 miles and Victoria Sub. Parksville to Nanaimo 23 miles owned
also 73 miles to Victoria plus Parksville to Courtenay 45 miles leased. Total about 181 miles.

Rail America's operation ended June 30, 2006.

Effective July 1st a new railway, Southern Railway of Vancouver Island a Washington Group company began.

ENR 1001(ex Kiamichi 1001) in Rail America corporate paint scheme enroute to VI at New Westminster January 20, 1999.

ENR 1002 at New Westminster December 18, 1998 enroute to Vancouver Island for startup.
