Note: 1512 was the first yard unit rebuilt by CP in their Ten Year Program. It was unique with its high flat
rear hood to provide a large capacity sand box to avoid need to frequently resupply when in hump service.
Later units had a modified large sand hood ending below rear lights and number board to simplify modification.
Only 1512, 1513, 1514, 1515 plus 1691 were modified. Ogden ended this modification after 1980.

Note: 1511, 1512 and 1513 were retired 11/2012 and sold to HH-US (Heavy Haul US formerly Soo Line).
