CN Rolling Stock

Passenger equipment, modern era.

Skyview Lounge 1900-1905 series. Built 1949 for Olympian Hiawatha.
One of six lounge-observation cars bought from MILW in 1964.

Spadina Coach Yard (looking east) Toronto.
Note: Dominion Stores logo, famous grocery chain once owned by E.P.Taylor.

Sceneramic Columbia (ex MILW 52 Columbia)
One of 6 (2400-2405) acquired 1964-65 Pullman-Standard 1951

Daynighter interior with 52 reclining seats that include drop down table on rear.

321 Tempo coach apparently on public display when new.

CN 15404 steam generator car part of 15400-15448 order. CC&F 1958.

Note: Other than passenger A & B units equipped with steam generators it was CN's policy to have (123) separate
SG cars for passenger trains that could be powered by any model freight units. No other railway chose this arrangement.
Considering the large number of passenger trains all across Canada it was an unusual decision since it meant operating
and maintaining another piece of rolling stock instead of simply having steam generators inside the locomotive.
