There were two versions of this Canadian-only model on CNR.

8500-8522 (23 units) DL411 731 t.m. 75:16 gearing

8600-8625 (26 units) DL411A 752 t.m. 74:18 gearing
Built new with m.u. and hump controls.

CN 8517 and 8518 (below) two identical MLW S-13 yard switchers in the former CN Spadina Coach Yard in Toronto.

8623 smoking it up like a typical Alco! These 123 ton hump units worked in a three unit set with a slug in between.
