Former CNR Haliburton station at end of subdivision from Lindsay. Built GTR 1901 (22 x 97 feet).

Note: Mixed passenger service ended in 1960 and freight service in 1972. A washout just north of Kinmount in 1978
and the burnt-out trestle over McLaren’s Creek in 1981 sealed the fate of the branch which was abandoned in 1982.
Track remained in place along the isolated portion for a still-born tourist attracttion. Due to bridge isolating access
and poor roadbed near a wet area it was proposed to use sectionemn's motocars instead of normal equipment.
Eventually it was dismantled and a trail was created instead.

Tourist Information. Located near the station.
CN 7712 is actually 77127 nee GT 90421 built 4/1927.

Note: Near entrance to Haliburton at 5358 County Road 21 is CNR 2616 under care of Haliburton Rotary.
Next to it is AVRO CF-100 fighter jet under care of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 129.
