Milltowne Railway Line A fictitious "railway" that began with the display of a caboose next to the original 1915 Piedmont and Northern station where South Main Cycles business was located at 4 N. Main St., Belmont, NC. January 2008 saw the addition of a GE 70-tonner from Fairmont & Western 107, ex Laurinburg & Southern 107. Previously, it was in Canada as DEVCO 60 successor to Sydney & Louisburg 60, ex British Columbia Ry. 553 nee Pacific Great Eastern 553. GE 30038 3/1949. An excellent preservation! Display train. A decision was made to reduce the exhibit and in April
2016 the diesel unit and caboose were removed.
