Note the line indicating location of original right-of-way. Signs of which still remain. A diversion was built in 1960's when a dam and reservoir for flood protection was built on 2,000 acres. Costing $6 million it was started in 1963 and completed in 1967. Gordon Pittock Reservoir is a conservation area open to the public year round.

The Woodstock Toyota automobile assembly plant is served by a 3.01 mile long spur off Mile 81.75 Galt Subdivision.

The almost 1,000 acre site of Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada Inc. is the location of a $1.1 billion plant capable of assembling 150,000 RAV4 SUV's a year. It officially opened December 4, 2008. Right in time for a major recession! Customer demand quickly dropped off as a result shutting down production. This plant had also attracted a number of related automobile companies to locate new facilities adjacent to it.
