Indovina's grocery store, 3078 Dundas Street West, northwest corner
of Quebec Avenue. February 1943. One of two grocery stores in the Junction owned by the Indovina brothers. It was the other brother's store that supplied the CPR auxiliary for many years. When the "Big Hook" was ordered SAP, no matter what the hour, a call would be placed to Indovina who lived above the store, and a fresh order of groceries would be made up for the crew. There was no telling how long they would be gone cleaning up "affairs," those things others would call wrecks!
