Throttle Modules

This Throttle Module also has a double crossover between the inside
main line and the optional auxillary track (OAT). It permits us to
make sidings off the inside main when connected with modules that have
implemented the OAT connection.
In this photo, one of our members has removed the drop-in backdrop that
normally hides the throttles from public view. You can also see that
the two outside-main thrttles have been turned down, and only the inside
packs are showing track voltage.
|
| The two inside packs control the inside mainline blocks. The
two outside packs control the outside mainline.
Switches are provided to gap the OAT and to select the common rail for Normal operation or for a return Loop. All rails except the Outside Rail (the Common Rail) are gapped. |

| This is the Route 66 corner. Route 66 intertwines with
the former Santa Fe Railway's trackage, and is a major feature of the Southern
California railroad scene.
More information on Route 66 can be found on the World Wide Web.
