Cincinnati, Hamilton & Dayton
Combine # 105
Combine 105 was built in 1927 by the Kuhlman Car Company in Cleveland for the Cincinnati, Hamilton & Dayton Railway, which ran between its namesakes in southwestern Ohio. This type of car is known as a combine as it serves the roles of a passenger and freight car, having a baggage compartment at one end in addition to the regular coach section. It joined the C&LE fleet when the Cincinnati & Lake Erie was formed in 1929. When the C&LE shut down, the car body of 105 was sold and became a pottery shop and storage building. The museum acquired this car body in 1977.
