Scotland (Chester Township), Ohio - Cleveland & Eastern Station

About 1/2 mile east of Caves Road in Chester Township, at a place known as Scotland, the Cleveland & Eastern line curved south and crossed Mayfield Road. The line had a small station here which was located behind a dry goods store on the south side of the road. After the demise of the interurban a local farmer moved the structure to his back yard where, ironically, he used it as a garage for his automobile. The station has since been saved and restored by the Chester Historical Foundation. It is now located next to the old Cleveland & Eastern right-of-way at their site at the corner of Mayfield and Caves Roads.
