CN 9560

The conductor of train #335 prepares to begin almost two hours of switching at Port Rob. The crew would have to do some real digging to get their 'lift' out of the quite scattered yard. With literally seconds to spare before the sun disappears for the remainder of the day, the 4810 and mate's steps onto the Welland River bridge with train #449. Train #335 pauses while drilling the yard at Port Robinson. At the time of this photo, #335 was a Garneau, Que. to Buffalo (via Toronto) train; it is currently a Toronto - Buffalo job. CN 5409, 2573 and GTW 5927 April 26, 1998 @ 1435.
