This is the last solid 'Alco' lashup I shot on CN. Talk about going out in style! An HR616, an HR412, and an M420W, one of each of the remaining three models of operable road-units. Numbers are 2112, 3583, and 3553.
Close-up view of my last solid CN 'Alco' lashup. Upon close inspection, it seems as though someone renumbered the 3553 on the cabside to 2553. For old times sake?
I included this shot only for the Grand Trunk Western SD40. It is always nice to see these attractive units. However, the 6015 does display the short lived CN North America paint scheme rather nicely.
With a good size block of grain on the headend, the 9405, 5369, and 5046 make good time through Oshawa with train #302.
