As the sun sets, an eastbound CN freight curves through the rolling countryside at Newtonville, Ontario. |

A trio of GM diesels work a westbound over the crest of the climb from Port Hope. |

In this shot, it looks like the 1990's era SD70I is twice the size of the 1970' era GP40-2W's that trail her. But what the GP40's lack in size compared to the 5605, they certainly make up in quantity on CN! |

One of my favorite things about the Newtonville area is the abundance of these wonderful wooden bridges. An eastbound freight with the 5671 and 5060 is framed by the 'Bee Bridge' on a lazy afternoon. |

Working in tandem, CN C44-9WL 2511 and SD40-2 5384 lead a westbound through Newtonville. Notice the unique (and apparently hand-painted) design on the plow of the 2511. |
