Soaring high above Port Hope, eastbound #918 with SLH 5560:2, NS 6700, NS 6655, and CP 5416 make for an interesting sight. The NS units, while not unheard of, are certainly a good catch on the Belleville Sub. The SLH 5560:2 is an SD40-2 built with componets from wrecked CP SD40 5560:1. Also of note, the Canadian Tire store seen through the bridge piers sits near the approximate location of the old Midland Railway roundhouse and turntable. The bridge itself passes right through it. |
