CN 2516 and 5297

This is the extent of the technological advancement in air conditioning on CN, open the door! The 2516 and the 5297 roll south on the #304 at Zephyr, and yes it was a very HOT day.

CN 2566 and 5241

The northbound #451 kicks up the snow as it hammers up the Bala.

CN 9583, 9467, 9612, and 9404 on 2nd-#336 at Zephyr Jan 7, 1999 @ 1302

Second 336's power show signs of the wonder's of winter; snow packed everywhere below the frame, draped with icicles, and the ever present broom. Lead unit #9583 was retired by CN and is now in operation on the Aberdeen, Carolina & Western.

CN 2403

After meeting the southbound #202 at Zephyr, the northbound #303 has exited the siding and stretches her train out on the tanget north of the siding. CN 2403 and GCFX 6033 January 2, 2001 @ 1342.

CN 2426

Making good time (and a little weather), southbound #104 flies through the falling snow at track-speed with a shorter than usual train due to the Christmas Holidays. CN 2426 and 5323 January 3, 2001 @ 1429.
