If you are going to St Louis, make time to visit this musem.
The collection of railroad history here is one of the best I've seen so far.
Time has taken its toll on most of the old machines here, but there is constant restoration
in progress.
The best known Restoration Project at the museum is of course Frisco #1522. She's been restored to her shining, steaming, and smoking glory by a group
of dedicated volunteers who invest heavily of their own time & money to keep her running.
