Kansas City Southern is one of the most "Railfan Friendly"
railroads that I've ever seen. The classification and maintenance yard located on Front St. in Kansas
City is easily accessible and a railfan with camera in hand is usually given a cheerful
wave from the crews in the yard. According to one engineer, "Most of us are railfans too."
