Other Information
Good photo times: Off and on through the day - have to catch the
Janesville-Madison (each way), Janesville-Horicon (each way) or Rock Train
to/from Rock Springs near Reedsburg (Spring-Fall). A local may ply
the rails as needed to switch industry.
The CNW rails are long gone (abandoned late 1960s) and very little remains
in town of the right-of-way.
NOTE: Liberty Station restaurant is the old C&NW Milton
Jct. Depot. There is a restored C&NW Fairbanks Morse switcher on
display in front of the restaurant.
