CN line from E. St. Louis to DuQuoin passes through town NW to SE. Tracks coming south out of Lenzburg are used by UP (trackage rights?) delivering coal to the Baldwin Power Plant.

There is an unused spur that branches off of the line running south out of Lenzburg at Hilltown/Schmoll Roads. The line runs west to an unused coal unloading facility along the Kaskaskia River. These tracks are owned by the Kaskaskia Port Authority RR.
