Other InformationUP Chester Sub double track main runs
north south. Good wide open photos from the Flinton Station Rd
crossing. The ex-MoPac connecting track running east-west from the UP
main to the east across the Kaskaskia River has long been torn out.
The track from the UP main to the west is still intact and serves (served?)
a coal unloading facility on the Mississippi River at Kellog. The
track is owned by the Consolidated Coal Company and usually has engines
stored at the end of Flinton Station Rd.
