The Houston Sub represents double track trackage from Houston to South Smithville. It is in the middle and left hand side of the layout, highlighted in green.
The towns of LaGrange, LCRA Fayette Power Project lead, Cat Spring, Sealy, Brookshire and Houston are in the Houston Sub-Division. The GH&H Sub Junction is in Houston, the ATSF/BNSF cross at Sealy, and the SP at Tower 13 in Houston.
Maximum track speed is 40 mph. Speed limits prescribed by city ordinance: 25 mph for Houston, Brookshire, Sealy, Smithville.
