These photos were taken on Saturday, October 11, 1997, at the Metro-North Port Jervis station. NJ Transit ran this Fall Foliage Excursion from Hoboken, NJ to Port Jervis, NY with Steam Engine C&O # 614 on the point. The 614 had a piston problem at the Campbell Hall station and couldn't run the rest of the way to Port Jervis. GP40-2 diesels # 4301& 4302 took the excursion the rest of the way to Port Jervis and took it back to Hoboken.
