McCloud Rails: Shasta Sunset Dinner Train

On Friday, 17 October 2004, Peter and Karen Ely rode the Shasta Sunset Dinner Train. These pictures were taken by them during that trip. |

The dinner train parked at the depot in downtown McCloud. The power for tonight's train has yet to arrive. |

The power for tonight's train arrives in the form of the #36. The locomotive has brought two passenger coaches for a special excursion to be run the next day, and the first move is to place those cars on the outside track. |
|

Once the coaches have been spotted and tied down, the #36 pulls away so that it can go to the other track and couple onto the dinner train. |
|

Almost over the switch. Conductor Roger Titus rides the rear steps of the #36. Engineer on tonight's run is Malen Johnson. |
