Steam Locomotive #18: Photo Freight January 2005 |

On Saturday 15th January 2005 Martin Hansen chartered a special photo freight that ran with the
#18 on the McCloud-Mount Shasta City portion of the railroad. The photo freight ran the day before
the special Pacific Locomotive Association charter that was at the time billed as the last run of
the #18 on the McCloud. This train featured the #18, fire car #1711, one of the ex-SP bottom dump
ballast hoppers, fire cars #1715 and #1716, and cabooses #553 and #102 to carry the photographers. All photos on this page were taken by Roger Titus and are used with permission. |
