McCloud, CA, 5/2003. The #827 was one of two flatcars converted from maintenance-of-way work to passenger service during the spring of 1995. At one point it had seats salvaged from a local theatre lining it’s deck, but the seats have since been removed. The car is usually assigned to the dinner train during the summer months. |

During the third week of June 2006 the railroad repainted the #827 a dark green color to make it fit in with the rest of the dinner train set. |
