Marion Model Railroad Club Happenings

This page details some of the things going on in our club right now. This includes open houses and other events that happen at the station.

Some of the events that happen at the station are railfan related events. One of the attractions includes the relocated AC Tower. There is plenty to do than just see our layout!

These are the new cabinets being installed for club members to keep items that they use on a frequent basis. Above this will be a multi level area. One level will be an automobile plant, and another area will be a staging area for members to bring in equipment to use on a temporary basis.

The top level will be replacing Crosley Yard on the Crooked Creek Railroad. This section is still intact, but in storage.

We are open by request for community groups, as well as railfan and modeler groups. When there is an event at the station, the club is generally open also. Usually at least one club member is at these events and can open the club. If you are interested, please contact us for details.

We are generally open on Sundays from 2 P.M. to 5 P.M. Our work nights are on Thursdays, and our meetings are generally on the last Sunday of each month at 5 P.M. in the adjacent meeting room. Please email us for our next meeting date. They vary during the summer months.
