Club Day, April 2009, Branxton

Our last Club Day was held on 11th April 2009 in Branxton at the house of Peter and Diane. The railway consists of three loops, all connected together for a total of 600 metres of mainline, weaving throughout a spacious yard. Peter operates by battery power and radio control thereby avoiding the necessity to clean all that track. He also operates 12 inches to the foot. He owns a 629 Class Diesel set that is being renovated at Patterson.

This is the first time the LGB Club has visited the Brokenback and Black Creek Railway. About 30 people were in attendance with a few hearty souls making the trek from far and wide. The weather was very pleasant and all had a lovely day. The club thanks Peter and Diane for a very pleasant day.
