We took an Alco RS3 diesel (ugh) built in 1954 out to the sawmill but we
were greeted by something more interesting (“the Buda”) when we arrived
Luckily the ride back was behind steam -- a 2-8-2 built by Baldwin in 1929
A shop and yard tour was the icing on the cake ~ what a day!
