Steam!!-Ribbons!!-Music!!-Food!!
The
Friends are proposing and planning
a
major celebration and ribbon cutting
for
the restoration of the Kingston Station.
The
date -May 31, 1997-
The
Friends have been getting some very good responses in the
planning
and we
are working with Amtrak and as well as the Essex Valley RR,
and
Mystic
RR fan folks to get a Steam Train to meet up with an Amtrak of
some
modern
vintage at the Kingston Station for this ceremony.
